Spam Prevention

Our spam filtering system is able to learn what messages are spam, using a technique called bayesian filtering. If you are receiving spam that is not being properly filtered, you can help teach our system to filter those messages.

Redirect/bounce the spam email to spam@jcsecure.com. Note, this is not the same as forwarding an email. When you forward email it is resent from you, when you redirect/bounce an email it is resent as it was from the original sender. Most email clients are able to redirect/bounce messages.

Here is an example of the steps for redirecting an email in Outlook (for instructions on your specific mail client, see ResendingMailWithHeaders).

Step 1: Open the email

Step 2: Choose Action | Resend This Message - the following warning appears:

Step 3: Click on OK

Step 4: Replace the To address with spam@jcsecure.com (Also, delete any CC or BCC addresses)

Step 5: Send the message - Done

NOTE - If you find an email marked as spam which really isn't (a false positive) follow the same procedure except in step 4, redirect it to notspam@jcsecure.com.
